Fear Street Part 3: 1666 trailer brings Netflix’s horror trilogy full circle

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Netflix's Summer of Fear is set to conclude when Fear Street Part 3: 1666 debuts this Friday, and Netflix has released a new trailer for the film which gives us a taste of what we're in for.

Based on R.L. Stine's best-selling horror series, Netflix's Fear Street trilogy follows Shadyside's sinister history through a nightmare 300 years in the making. Fear Street Part 3: 1666 will finally reveal the origins of Sarah Fier's curse as history comes full circle on a night that changes the lives of Shadysiders forever. Although I've only watched the first film at this point, I've got to admire what director Leigh Janiak has accomplished with this fun — and at times surprisingly gruesome — slasher throwback. I've got Fear Street Part 2: 1978 ready to go later tonight and can't wait to see how everyone wraps up with Fear Street Part 3: 1666.

Fear Street Part 1:1994 and Fear Street Part 2: 1978 are now streaming on Netflix, and you can check out reviews from our own Chris Bumbray and JimmyO. Fear Street Part 3: 1666 will launch on July 16th.
