To show the world he may be out of the spotlight but he’s still rocking his 80s fame and personality, Corey Feldman is set to host the upcoming Chiller-Eyegore Awards, which kicks off Universal Studio’s “Halloween Horror Nights®” in Hollywood. Nice gig!
The Eyegore Awards honors peeps in and around the horror industry, pimping performances and other achievements in the genre. This year the Eyegore Awards is being co-partnered by Chiller (the cable network), and will be broadcast on TV in late October.
So when’s the horror shindig set to go off? Friday, October 2 at 7:00pm, that’s when, setting off the 16 night run of “Halloween Horror Nights®”, which will feature horror romps like “Saw: Game Over,” “Halloween: The Life and Crimes of Michael Myers,” “My Bloody Valentine: Be Mine 4 Ever,” “Chucky’s Funhouse,” “The Rocky Horror Picture Show: A Tribute,” as well as a fully re-imagined “Terror Tram.”
What a way to kick off the event with none other than Feldman, right? Not sure if his persona bleeds Halloween goodness, but I can dig it, yo. FRIDAY THE 13TH PART IV, THE LOST BOYS, and BORDELLO OF BLOOD have given him strong enough ties in horror to be a pretty cool host. Bring it!
