Todd Field, who directed the really great LITTLE CHILDREN has signed on to direct the twisted crime drama BURIED, which sounds right up our alley.
The flick centers on a couple who, in a bid for cash, commit a crime and then are forced to cope with the fallout on their relationship.
Field also directed the Oscar-nominated IN THE BEDROOM, and has acted in many films, including TWISTER, THE HAUNTING, and EYES WIDE SHUT… Brad Inglesby will write the screenplay for BURIED. Mr. Inglesby is the new hot ticket in town; just a few days ago I let you know he’d be writing the Sam Raimi-produced SLEEPER and a movie for Ridley Scott and Leonardo DiCaprio. Where does the guy find the time? Who the hell IS this guy? I want to – I NEED to – know! Inglesbyyyyyyyy!!!!!!
