So it's almost Valentine's day, and the specter of being forced to watch FIFTY SHADES DARKER looms (I'm safe at least, since I'm forever alone). Now, depending on your tastes, that not might necessarily be a bad thing. I'm not a fan of the series (mainly for its misrepresentation of BDSM relationships), but I also have no problem with its success – it's not made for me, and that's fine.
What is always hard to remember, though, how much work goes into any film, even ones that you wouldn't expect. Anyway, a new featurette for the film has been released that shows just how hard the crew worked on what is ostensibly porn for bored housewives:
That does indeed look impressive. Not enough to make me see the movie, but impressive nonetheless. Good job, production designer!
Anyway, FIFTY SHADES DARKER will do weird sex stuff in theaters February 10th, 2017.
