Fillion joins Slither

The gorey splatterfest that is James Gunn’s SLITHER just got another cast member, as Nathan Fillion joins the team of good guys versus gooey aliens.

Best known for his role as Capt. Malcolm ‘Mal’ Reynolds of the Sci-Fi series FIREFLY, Fillion was also seen as Father David in DRACULA 2000. Why Fillion? Well, as Gunn puts it, Fillion has “a great young Kurt Russell vibe”. Judging from the way he’s holding that gun, I’m not gonna argue!

Fillions charactor battles Micheal Rooker as the alien infected killing machine, along side Elizabeth Banks and Gregg Henry. SLITHER should start filming in Vancouver within the next couple of weeks.
