Final Fantasy Island trailer teases killer Valentine’s Day

Blumhouse's horror twist on that old-ass FANTASY ISLAND show from back in the day with Lucy Hale from (SCREAM 4, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS) and Michael Pena (CHIPS, CRASH) as Mr. Roarke hits next month. The MPAA has slapped the movie with – you guessed it – a PG-13 rating for "violence, terror, drug content, suggestive material, and brief strong language." Described as a mix of WESTWORLD and THE CABIN IN THE WOODS, it tells the tale of 

the enigmatic Mr. Roarke, who makes the secret dreams of his lucky guests come true at a luxurious but remote tropical resort. But when the fantasies turn into nightmares, the guests have to solve the island’s mystery in order to escape with their lives.

Directed by Jeff Wadlow (KICK-ASS 2 and TRUTH OR DARE) from a script he wrote with Chris Roach and Jillian Jacobs FANTASY ISLAND is produced by Jason Blum and Marc Toberoff and stars Lucy Hale (SCREAM 4 and PRETTY LITTLE LIARS), Maggie Q, Michael Rooker, Ryan Hansen, Jimmy O. Yang, Charlotte McKinney, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Portia Doubleday, Austin Stowell, and Michael Pena (CHIPS and CRASH) as Mr. Roarke.
