The cast of horror comedy FINAL GIRLS is growing. Already starring Taissa Farmiga (“American Horror Story”) and Malin Akerman (WATCHMEN), the film has just added Nina Dobrev (“The Vampire Diaries”; pictured below), Adam Devine (“Workaholics”; pictured right), Thomas Middleditch (“Silicon Valley”) and Alexander Ludwig (THE HUNGER GAMES).
Directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson, FINAL GIRLS tells the tale of…
…the grieving daughter of a 1980s scream queen who finds herself trapped in her mother’s most famous film. The women are reunited and must fight off the film’s maniacal killer before the daughter can return to her life.
If Jamie Lee Curtis doesn’t end up in this somehow, I’ll be very disappointed.
Middleditch will play a film geek for whom landing in a classic horror flick is a dream come true, until it turns into a nightmare. Dobrev will play the alpha ex-best friend. Ludwig will act as Farmiga’s love interest while Devine will be the movie-within-a-movie’s appointed teen seducer.
