Deadline reports that prolific Native American actor Michael Greyeyes (Blood Quantum) will be joining Zack Efron in the upcoming re-adaptation of Stephen King's Firestarter (originally made in 1984 starring Drew Barrymore) by The Vigil director Keith Thomas! Greyeyes will be playing the character of Rainbird, decribed as
a relentless powerful man who has been pushed into a violent life.

The character was played by Oscar winner George C. Scott in the original 1984 movie.

A young girl develops pyrokinetic abilities and is abducted by a secret government agency that wants to harness her powerful gift as a weapon.
