First clip surfaces for porn-star Linda Lovelace biopic, Lovelace, starring Amanda Seyfried

JoBloJoBlo

The first clip from LOVELACE, a biopic about the famed porn actress, has surfaced, featuring Amanda Seyfried as the titular character during a photo shoot with Wes Bentley.  The film, from directors Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, lists a massive amount of co-stars, including Juno Temple, Sharon Stone, Sarah Jessica Parker, Peter Sarsgaard, Rober Patrick, Adam Brody, Chris Noth, Hank Azaria, Chloe Sevigny, James Franco, and Eric Roberts, which really adds to the allure of the project.

Seyfried has been on the rise in recent years, tackling a number of high-profile projects, both commerical and independent. Her recent turn in LES MISERABLES was a step in the right direction for the actress and LOVELACE will be a real test to see if she can carry the lead amongst a large stable of stars.  Aside from being gorgeous, Seyfried has demonstrated skill in her craft and this clip shows off a nice bit of that.  I’m still holding out for a trailer to properly judge, but I’m certainly interested in seeing how this movie will shape up.

Here’s the clip:

LOVELACE is slated to be released sometime in 2013.
