A couple of days ago the first trailer for Netflix's Daredevil series was released, and now we have a first look at AKA Jessica Jones, but in a different form. Production has begun on the Marvel show (code named "Violet"), and several photos of Krysten Ritter as Jones have surfaced online. AKA Jessica Jones is set after Jones decided to quit being a superhero though, so Ritter isn't wearing a costume in the images below, although she'll likely suit up for the planned The Defenders series.

With filming for the series underway, hopefully we'll also get a look at Mike Colter as Luke Cage (as well as the rest of the cast, which includes David Tennant, Rachael Taylor and Carrie-Anne Moss) in the near future. I loved the Daredevil teaser, and while I'm excited to watch the shit out of it, I also have very high hopes for the rest of Marvel's upcoming Netflix series.
AKA Jessica Jones will be released on Netflix later this year.
