The Diabolical Ali Larter

There has certainly been no shortage of horror films of the paranormal variety lately, but one we’ve had a very close eye on for a while now is the Ali Larter-starring (RESIDENT EVIL) haunter THE DIABOLICAL, from director Alistair Legrand. While it doesn’t exactly sound like anything ground-breaking, I’m always up for some haunted house scares and it’ll be interesting to see how this one stacks up to some of the other films we’ve been seeing out of the genre. What we have for you fine folks is the very first look at the film, featuring Larter looking plenty terrified. Check it out!

THE DIABOLICAL follows…

…Madison and her children in their quiet suburban home as they are awoken nightly by an increasingly strange and intense presence. Madison desperately seeks help from her scientist boyfriend Nikolai, who begins a hunt to destroy the violent spirit that paranormal experts are too frightened to undertake.

This will mark the directorial debut of Alistair Legrand, who is directing a script he co-wrote with Luke Harvis. Ali Larter stars alongside Patrick Fischler (“Mad Men”), Arjun Gupta (“Nurse Jackie”), Merrin Dungey (“Betrayal”), and Joe Egender (“American Horror Story: Asylum”).
