This morning California got a little earthquake tickle in the form of a 4.4 magnitude quake that lasted about 12 seconds, which serves as a little teaser for this article, which gives us our first look at Dwayne Johnson as a member of the Los Angeles Fire Department Air Squadron Rescue in the adventure/disaster pic SAN ANDREAS. Johnson reteams with his JOURNEY 2: THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND director Brad Peyton for the flick, which also has Carla Gugino and Alexandra Daddario in tow for the ride.

Take a look:

Here's the synopsis:

In the aftermath of a massive earthquake in California, a rescue-chopper pilot makes a dangerous journey across the state in order to rescue his estranged daughter.

Disaster pics seem to be getting a little tired of late, but when you toss in The Rock and a couple of hotties like Gugino and Daddario you've practically sold the ticket already. Johnson is so damn likeable that it would take him doing another TOOTH FAIRY movie to lose his footing now. Thankfully, he passed that torch to Larry the Cable Guy. I'm sure SAN ANDREAS will have plenty of yelling, sweating, jumping, and most especially, saving of innocent lives at great risk of personal safety and who better to see all that happen with than The Rock (and in 3D, no less)?

SAN ANDREAS is set to shake n' bake on June 5, 2015.
