Director Robert Rodriguez took to Twitter today and has shared our first look at Josh Brolin on the set of SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR.  Brolin will be taking on the role of Dwight, who was previously played by Clive Owen in the first SIN CITY.  Many have been upset that Owen wouldn’t be back, but those that have followed the comic story know that the twist is actually fitting.  Brolin is joined by a great list of co-stars, including Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke, Eva Green, Rosario Dawson, Jeremy Piven, Jaime King, Ray Liotta, Michael Madsen, Christopher Meloni, Juno Temple, Alexa Vega, Dennis Haysbert, and Jamie Chung.  Whew!

Here’s Brolin:

Pretty bad ass, right?  In the comics Dwight had a shaved head during the A DAME TO KILL FOR arc, but this is just fine.  I have little doubt that he’ll bring the same awesome intensity that he has in recent years, so this is exciting indeed.

SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR hits theaters on October 4, 2013.
