First look at Solace, starring Anthony Hopkins and Jeffrey Dean Morgan

Here’s your first look at the supernatural thriller SOLACE, courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter. Pictured are Abbie Cornish, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Anthony Hopkins. No glimpse of Colin Farrell just yet; the Irish actor must be off murdering someone. (In the movie!)

The story centers on a former doctor with psychic abilities (Hopkins) who is drawn into a serial-killer case, only to find that the killer (Farrell) is a psychic as well — so the two men can detect each other’s moves.

The film is currently shooting in Atlanta under the direction of Afonso Poyart from a script by former Disney president Sean Bailey, Ted Griffin (Ocean’s Eleven), James Vanderbilt (The Amazing Spider-Man) and Peter Morgan (The Queen).

Kind of concerning when you’ve got that many top-tier screenwriters toiling away on the same screenplay, no?

SOLACE will open next year.
