First look: Distant cousins Oin and Gloin from The Hobbit

Yesterday we brought you a photo of the brothers- Nori, Ori and Dori from THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY.

Earlier today another photo character reveal landed on the internet, this time it’s Oin (John Callen) and Gloin (Peter Hambleton). If Gloin looks familiar to you, it’s because he’s Gimli’s Father. THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY will release on December 14, 2012 and the second part, THE HOBBIT: THERE AND BACK AGAIN will open on December 13, 2013.

“Distant cousins of Thorin Oakenshield, these two doughty Northern Dwarves join the Company out of a sense of loyalty to their kin, and also because they have a substantial sum of money invested in the venture. Along with Bombur, Gloin is the only other married Dwarf in the Company (there being a shortage of female dwarves in general). His wife is an acclaimed beauty with a particularly fine beard.
