Apple TV+ has lifted the veil on a First Look featurette for SEE, the upcoming action-drama series starring Jason Momoa. Taking place centuries after a virus has decimated humankind and left its survivors blind, the post-apocalyptic series finds Jason Momoa (AQUAMAN) starring as Baba Voss, a warrior and leader of a small tribe. When his wife gives birth to twins with the ability to see, Voss must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who believes it's witchcraft and wants the twins destroyed.

Here's the official synopsis for SEE:

In the far future, a virus has decimated humankind. Those who survived emerged blind. Jason Momoa stars as Baba Voss, the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see—who must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who believes it’s witchcraft and wants them destroyed. Alfre Woodard also stars as Paris, Baba Voss’ spiritual leader.

The new featurette takes us behind-the-scenes of the new Apple TV+ original series, and introduces us to a world forever changed by the hubris of humankind. As the video plays on, SEE director / executive producer Francis Lawrence, Momoa, and executive producer Dan Shotz, welcome viewers to a time ruled by old ways, new traditions, and plans for a bold, brave future where humans are forced to learn from the past, lest they be doomed to repeat it. Throughout the footage, we explore gorgeous locales, meet new and fascinating characters, and learn about the inner-workings of one of Apple TV+'s most talked about shows.

Joining Momoa as members of the cast for SEE are Alfre Woodard (Marvel's LUKE CAGE, 12 YEARS A SLAVE), Josh Blacker (ELYSIUM, THE WALL), Christian Camargo (THE HURT LOCKER, WITCH HUNT), Nesta Cooper (THE EDGE OF SEVENTEEN, TRAVLERS), Yadira Guevara-Prip (SUPERNATURAL, STAR TREK: DISCOVERY), Hera Hilmar (2 BIRDS, LIFE IN A FISHBOWL), Sylvia Hoeks (BLADE RUNNER 2049, WHATEVER HAPPENS), Archie Madekwe (MIDSOMMAR, INFORMER), and Chrsitian Sloan (STAR TREK: BEYOND, DEATH NOTE).

Apple TV+ is slated to launch on November 1, 2019 and will cost just $4.99 a month, which positions it as the cheapest of the major streaming services. You will also get a free year of Apple TV+ when you purchase a new iPhone, iPad, or Mac from the next generation of each device.

SEE will come to light on Apple TV+ on November 1, 2019.
