First looks at new Shredder and Karai from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

With TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2 in full swing of production, new photos have been appearing steadily. Last time, we got our first look at Arrow’s Stephen Amell as Casey Jones and now we have looks at Brian Tee as Shredder and Brittany Ishibashi as Karai. Both Shredder and Karai appeared in Jonathan Liebesman‘s first film, played by Tohoru Masamune and Minae Noji, respectively. One would assume the recasting means bigger roles for both of them in the second film.

The set photos also give us a look at Laura Linney as a police offer and the original 1990 TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: THE MOVIE’s April O’Neil, Judith Hoag, as what appears to be Megan Fox‘s new boss. That call back to the original movie is a nice touch and Hoag looks pretty good for her age. With the new film featuring the return of William Fichtner as Eric Sachs and set to debut Gary Anthony Williams as Bebop, Myles Humphus as Rocksteady, and Tyler Perry as Dr. Baxter Stockman, the sequel could be the TMNT that fans have been waiting for.

Also, while we are a movie site and want to focus on the production development of movies, I would be remiss if I did not point out the inclusion of the Megan Fox photos below. I have been critical of how Fox had messed up her perfect face in the past, but I just cannot pick up my jaw off the ground seeing her front and back assets in these set photos. I mean, hot damn.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2 hits theaters on June 3, 2016.
