“A king has his reign, and then he dies. It’s inevitable.”
I have no words except to say that THIS IS SO EXCITING. I honestly cannot decide whether I am anticipating this or the end to Nolan’s Batman trilogy more, which is saying a lot as I have been telling anyone who will listen how stoked I am for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. That and PROMETHEUS may very well be my two most awaited movies of all time, something which I say without a single speck of hyperbole.
So without further delay:
You can decide for yourself on June 8th if the build-up to PROMETHEUS has been merely much ado about nothing, or so much more than what you dared to hope for.
Here’s the newly re-worked plot synopsis: In the distant future, two superpowers control Earth and fight each other for all the solar system’s natural resources. When one side dispatches a team to a distant planet to terraform it for human colonization, the team discovers an indigenous race of bio-mechanoid killers. Ridley Scott, director of ‘Alien’ and ‘Blade Runner,’ returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
