Footage from the remake of THE EVIL DEAD was shown at the New York Comic-Con (it got a fantastic response) and with it came the first official picture from the film (a familiar image for fans of the original). Check out two versions of it below! THE EVIL DEAD REMAKE is about:
Five twenty-something friends holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.

The flick is directed by Fede Alvarez, with a screenplay by Alvarez, Rodo Sayagues Mendez and Diablo Cody. It will spook the screens come April 12, 2013.
