Upon last briefing, the great Peter Bogdanovich had been the latest added to the cast of THE HEALER, Giordio Serafini’s teen-centric supernatural thriller. In the time since that September announcement, a first poster for the film has been designed to let us know principal photography on the film has completed. Take a full peek at her below!

Shot in North Carolina, THE HEALER finds:

An ailing father, who is about to undergo a potentially life-threatening surgery, take his teenage kids into the woods to try and recapture their early closeness, before he and his wife divorced and everything changed. But the three are swept into a supernatural adventure, in which only their Father, Chris, “The Healer,” has the ability to control their destinies. Lost in a haunted forest from which there seems no escape except death, this moving and sensitive script tells a beautiful story of a family’s tragedy & resilience.

As you can see, the poster isn’t too imaginative given its premise. We see silhouettes and shadows in the foreground of the looming forest, but that’s about it. Again, this is just an announcement card, and really shouldn’t be seen as anything but. My guess is much better actual one-sheet will be crafted once the film nears release.

In addition to the aforementioned trio, James LeGros, Greg Lee, Trace Adkins and LaDon Drummond all appear in the film. Keep close for more.
