If nothing else GOTHIC & LOLITA PSYCHO seems worth checking out for this poster alone! As soon as I seen that shite I was intrigued and I just had to share it with all of you!
But before we get into that awesome one-sheet let me school you all a bit on what we’re getting with GOTHIC & LOLITA PSYCHO. You see the Japanese genre flick comes from director Go Ohara and stars Rina Akiyama (below), Ruito Aoyagi, Minami Tsukui, and Yourei Yanagi. Yoshihiro Nishimura will be handling makeup and gore, having previously worked on TOKYO GORE POLICE and VAMPIRE GIRL VS FRANKENSTEIN GIRL. According to NipponCinema Akiyama is known as ‘Queen of the Beautiful Ass.’ She carries that title with good reason too! Just scroll below to see what I’m talking about! Well damn… this movie just made my ‘must-see’ list!
Gothic and Lolita…the fashion reflects her dark and childish mental state. Yuki, the heroine, saw her mother killed by cruel gangs. Now she vows revenge! Knock off the enemies with her transformable umbrella. So gorgeous and so savage…Who killed mother? What the hell are the gangs? What is the truth and purpose that father knows? Her coming terrible destiny is going to littered with the dead. Yuki lives at home in peace until one day a unit of assassins breaks in and slaughters her mother.In order to reveal the truth behind the seemingly senseless murder, Yuki transforms herself into a demon of vengeance by donning gothic lolita clothing, wielding a parasol as a deadly weapon, and adopting the Conan-inspired mantra “Suffer no guilt, ye who casts judgment in the name of God”.

Pretty awesome huh? Looks like an anime cover but I’m digging it! Also below you’ll find a still from the film featuring Akiyama as ‘Yuki.’ Plans are to have GOTHIC & LOLITA PSYCHO hit Theater N Shibuya in Japan in a limited release this Summer with hopes on releasing it on DVD internationally soon after. Word has it a trailer will be coming at us soon as well so be sure to check back for that!
