First Tekken stills show surprisingly literal character translations

JoBloJoBlo

I’m really pulling for TEKKEN to be the absolute best, worst movie it can be, and judging by this latest batch of stills, I think we’re on the right track.

io9 has a whole gallery of new pics from the film, but I pulled the best ones here, which are side-by-sides of the video game character (usually a busty lady) next to her real life counterpart (usually a less busty lady). Oh, and Jin Kazama.

I have to say, I find it hilarious that they actually made Nina MORE slutty in real life, as she looks like some sort of horrendous S&M Barbie doll. Anna looks about the same (though her video game face is hotter) and Christie has slightly more clothing on, probably because keeping those puppies in place while dance-fighting and wearing not much more than a ribbon is a feat that can only be achieved in the virtual world.

Lastly, it’s too bad no one could figure out how to do Jin’s hair correctly. I’ve seen cosplayers make better attempts at it.
