For years, kung fu fans have dreamed what a match-up between masters Jackie Chan and Jet Li might be like. Will THE FORBIDDEN KINGDOM be what they envisioned in their heads? After seeing the trailer (which actually dares to begin with the phrase “In a land…”), I can make a guess.
The movie follows a young chopsockey fanatic who gets transported to a mythic world where only Jet and Jackie can make him the champion he’ll need to be in order to defeat a wicked warlord.
