Found Footage 3D poster is horror VHS gold

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Holy shite. This is one of the most badass posters I have seen in a long time. I mean look at it (below). That is some 80s VHS cover box awesomeness right there. I need this t-shirt asap. Now, I am aware this FOUND FOOTAGE 3D poster is kinda old and many of you may have already seen it, but it's new to me so, boom, there you go.

While we can all save the poster and stare at it for hours in admiration, the flick itself is still in a kind of "limbo", let's say. There has been little to no word on the film's front for months now. Including, of course, a possible release date.

The latest news I could find was on the flick's pretty active Twitter account:

The above-mentioned Bone Bat Film Fest will be screening the movie on April 4th for anyone who lives in Seattle. The rest of us will just have to continue waiting for this flick to hit.

Until then you can read our review of the film RIGHT HERE. And peep the trailer below!

FOUND FOOTAGE 3D synopsis:

When he's hired to document the behind-the-scenes action of the ultra low-budget horror movie Spectre of Death ("the first 3D found-footage horror film"), an aspiring filmmaker packs up his camera and travels with the film's crew to a creepy cabin in the woods. But when the fictional evil presence from their film begins appearing in his behind-the-scenes footage, he has to figure out how to stop it, or it just may find its way into the real world.

In the same way that Scream deconstructed the slasher sub-genre in the 1990s, FF3D takes a found-footage horror movie and populates it with people who are aware of all of the rules, tricks, and clichés of the genre. They know how to make a found footage movie. But do they know how to survive one?

FOUND FOOTAGE 3D stars Carter Roy (REFUGE), Alena von Stroheim (HACKER'S GAME), Chris O'Brien (Alpha House), Tom Saporito (OFF CAMPUS), Scott Allen Perry, Jessica Perrin, and online journalist Scott Weinberg.
