Fox change Australia

SPOILER WARNING!

It is being reported that 20th Century Fox have forced writer/director Baz Luhrman to re-write the final scenes of his epic AUSTRALIA after negative reactions to test-screenings. Originally, Hugh Jackman’s character was intended to die at the end of the film, that was described as “an action-filled tragedy”, but when the movie is finally released, he will not. One reviewer said: “There is no reason to kill off Wolvie”, which sounds exactly like something I would say, except I probably would have added in parenthesis, “shnick shnick, rock!”.

Apparently the studio felt that a more up-lifting ending would spell greater success at the box-office. And let’s face it, those savy mother f-ckers would know. Once it’s out on DVD, MEET DAVE for example, should easily break the $13 million mark. Easily.
