Now we know there’s a sequel in the works to Fox’s recent reboot RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES. That’s really no secret. But today Fox has made it official!
Variety are reporting that Fox toppers Jim Gianopulos and Tom Rothman announced the planned sequel at CinemaCon, where the studio presented it’s 2012 slate. And that’s pretty much all we’ve got!

We already knew that Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver will be penning the sequel to RISE, which will possibly have the ‘Apes’ learning to talk. Now that this thing has officially been greenlit I’m sure more news on the project will be rolling our way soon so you’ll probably want to stick around for that.
