So considering it’s a pretty slow news day out there on this early Wednesday morning I’ve decided to come to you all today with some news on the graphic novel side of the genre. I know it’s not typically our style but when it’s Frank Miller you’ve got to make an exception, right? Right.
So what project am I here to tell you all about today? A little something coming at us from Legendary Comics called HOLY TERROR. All good so far. Described as ‘a dark, uncompromising superhero tale for the modern era,’ HOLY TERROR’s rundown reads a little something like this:
In HOLY TERROR, join The Fixer, a brand new, hard-edged hero as he battles terror. The graphic novel is a no-holds-barred action thriller told in Miller’s trademark high-contrast, black-and-white visual style, which seizes the political zeitgeist by the throat and doesn’t let go until the last page.
Alright, we can roll with that. Especially considering this shite is coming from the mind of Frank Miller. Can’t really go wrong with that. According to Legendary Comics Editor-in-Chief Bob Schreck “Holy Terror finds Frank at the top of his game. A fast paced, biting commentary on our uncertain and volatile times, told with some of the most gut-wrenching, iconic images he’s ever produced.”
