If you are subscribed to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s health conscious newsletter, The Pump Daily, you have been given a wealth of advice from Mr. Olympia himself. Schwarzenegger has just sent one out with advice on how to cut 200 calories from your diet, giving ideas for an easy 15-minute workout, PLUS, a new trailer of his upcoming Netflix action comedy series titled FUBAR! Schwarzenegger had to be tight with the details prior to this announcement, but The Terminator actor could hardly contain his excitement as he gave the exclusive to his loyal newsletter subscribers.

In the newsletter, Schwarzenegger speaks about his fans clamoring for him to do another action comedy in the vein of True Lies, and the action legend talks about wanting to partake in this project for that reason.

“I’ve told you about my show, FUBAR, coming on Netflix, but I’ve had to be a little secretive. Everywhere I go, people ask me when I’m going to do another big action comedy like True Lies. When Nick Santora sent me the script for FUBAR, I knew this is exactly what my fans have been asking for, and I’m so pumped to FINALLY share more with you.

We have a big announcement today, and I asked Netflix if I could share it with my newsletter subscribers before anyone else. They love you as much as I do, so naturally they said yes.”

The synopsis, according to Variety, reads, Fubar will show what happens when a father and daughter discover their entire relationship was built on a lie and that they are each CIA operatives. As the two join forces, the eight-episode series will depict themes of family dynamics with humor, action and, of course, spies.”

The series will also star Top Gun: Maverick‘s Monica Barbaro, Jay Baruchel, Fortune Feimster, Milan Carter, Travis Van Winkle, Gabriel Luna, Andy Buckley, Aparna Brielle, Barbara Eve Harris and Fabiana Udenio. Arnold will be executive producing alongside creator and showrunner, Nick Santora.

Schwarzenegger looks to not be outdone by his friendly rival, Sylvester Stallone, as Stallone recently found success migrating to television with the streaming series Tulsa King, available on Paramount+. This will be a first for Arnold — starring in an episodic narrative exclusively for a streaming platform.
