Puppet Master: Axis Termination

Last month, we got our first look at PUPPET MASTER: AXIS TERMINATION, the eleventh installment in the Full Moon franchise (and twelfth counting the Syfy production PUPPET MASTER VS. DEMONIC TOYS), with a batch of behind-the-scenes images. Just in time for Halloween, we have our first glimpse of footage from the film in a newly released trailer.

Directed by Full Moon founder Charles Band, AXIS TERMINATION has the following synopsis:

The most popular and successful direct-to-video horror franchise of all time is back with a BLOODY vengeance…

In 1989, Full Moon Features opened the toy Box and let Toulon’s puppets loose! Now, after 27-years, 11 films, and countless on-screen deaths – Full Moon unleashes TOTAL TERROR with the bloodiest, wildest and most gruesome Puppet Master yet!

PUPPET MASTER 11: AXIS TERMINATION

Witness the exciting conclusion and final chapter in the Axis trilogy! To stop the Nazi war machine from winning World War II and affecting the outcome of the free world, BLADE, JESTER, PINHEAD and the rest of the indestructible Toulon puppets join forces with the masters of psychic powers! Witness the exciting action-packed conclusion to the Puppet Master Axis saga!

The previous entries in the AXIS trilogy were 2010's PUPPET MASTER: AXIS OF EVIL and 2012's PUPPET MASTER X: AXIS RISING.

The trailer for AXIS TERMINATION can be seen below, and while it contains a whole lot of archival footage (like the whole first half of the video), the new stuff kicks in in the second half and offers some intriguing glimpses of Nazi villains, a heroic Paul Logan, and bloody puppet mayhem.

Principal photography has wrapped, but it's going to take four to six more months to complete the special effects, so a release date has not yet been announced. We'll keep you updated as we learn more.
