How does Warner Bros. one-up that spooky teaser for THE CONJURING that they released a month ago? With an extra-spooky full trailer! This is pretty much the same preview they brought to NYCC last year, but it’s an effective, eerie peek at James Wan’s latest attempt to scare the pants off of you.
And it looks like he’ll succeed, given the fact that it just received an R rating for being “so scary.”

Based on a true story, “The Conjuring” tells the horrifying tale of how world-renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.
Opening on July 19th, THE CONJURING stars Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor, Joey King, Shanley Caswell, Haley McFarland and Mackenzie Foy.
