One flick we should all be stoked for is that horror/comedy coming our way from Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel. Yeah, I’m talking about THE APOCALYPSE! If you’re like me you were sold on this shite a long time ago, and now you’ve got one more reason to be stoked for this one!
You see the folks over at Grantland recently had a chance to chat with comedy actor Aziz Ansari. They not only chatted with the funnyman, but sat down and had a feast with him! But that’s not what I’m getting at… During the interview Mr. Ansari (right) spilled the news that he’ll be joining the upcoming horror/comedy THE APOCALYPSE. Check it:
“I’m doing this thing in this movie, called The Apocalypse. It’s Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride — and all those guys.”
“No, Seth [Rogen] and Evan [Goldberg, Rogen’s longtime writing partner] are directing it. And it’s basically all of us playing ourselves. Me, McBride, Jonah, Seth — everyone’s playing themselves, and the bit is James Franco’s having a party at his house, and the Apocalypse starts happening.”
Let’s be honest… are you surprised? The flick already stars Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride and Craig Robinson and is said to have a number of cameos. Who else do you think will pop up in this one? Spit some predictions down below!
It seems production on THE APOCALYPSE has just about kicked off in New Orleans so I’m guessing we can expect more updates from this one soon.
