to New
Line Cinema’s
Toby Emmerich to inquire about
two planned genre projects:
FREDDY VS JASON 2
and THE NIGHTSTALKERS (the Blade TriniCrap spin-off).
Here’s what he had to say.
“There
are no plans for another Freddy Vs. Jason film
right now.”
“There are no plans right now for a
Nightstalkers film until I see how well Blade: Trinity does on
video.”
I know most fans will be bummed about this but this is good news for me! I’d
rather see a Friday The 13Th Part 11 (starring Kane Hodder of course)
than a FVSJ 2 and even though Ryan Reynolds was the shite in
Blade Trinity; I didn’t care enough for the characters to follow a
spin-off. Just give me a Blade 4 that stars freaking BLADE (Wesley
Snipes) instead!
