Games aren’t art? Presenting the Duke Nukem Forever trailer

JoBloJoBlo

I’ll be damned if I can find one iota of interesting movie news happening right now, so I thought I’d take a look at something we neglected to post last week that I think a number of you would be interested in.

Yes, that’s right, after twelve long years, Duke Nukem Forever is finally here, and it seems more like a sign of the apocalypse than cause for celebration with how unlikely its appearance is. I expect to see pigs flying out of a crack in the earth, fresh from frozen hell any minute.

Roger Ebert has repeatedly declared that “video games aren’t art” and I believe this trailer would probably be exhibit A in his case against them. But it’s everything Duke Nukem should be, and though none of it is particularly artsy, that’s totally OK.

If you haven’t seen it yet check it out below and let me know if you think it was worth the twelve year wait.
