Well, we’re exactly one year away from seeing Gareth Edwards’ GODZILLA hit the big screen. Yes folks, the Warner Bros. reboot rumbles into theaters on May 16, 2014, so in anticipation of that, Edwards has posted a new video from the set of the monster movie.

As has been the case up until now with these, we’re not seeing anything extraordinary. But what we can see is that Edwards is inside what looks like an arena or stadium, so that should provide an interesting set-piece. Also, he says there are approximately 600 extras on set, so obviously it’s a major sequence in the film.

GODZILLA stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston. The screenplay was penned by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont and Dave Callaham.
