Back in November we exclusively brought you the first look as to what we can expect from the upcoming HOWLING reboot THE HOWLING REBORN, which was described as a TWILIGHT/”Gossip Girl” wannabe, with some LOST BOYS thrown in for good measure (check out all the original details HERE).

Some time has passed since then and writer Joe Nimziki has been hard at work hammering out the details and cranking out the script. And the boys over at Bloody-D have the fruits of his labor, as they have the first look at what the film’s about. Check it: A teenager graduating from high school finally gets the girl he’s been pining over for years, but unfortunately for him once he’s landed the love of his life he discovers that he’s cursed and will transform into a werewolf. Even worse, not only does he have his own internal conflict to contend with, he must also battle an entire pack of werewolves who are hellbent on killing both him and his new girlfriend.

A generic plot outline if you ask me, one without a real bone to gnaw into, but enough to satisfy the masses, I suppose. It’s definitely along the same lines from November, but obviously a little more detailed. If you thought it sounded bad before… this certainly doesn’t help things.

Comparing the film to NEW MOON also seems fairly appropriate, since we’re dealing with teenage angst and a wolf pack… Yeeesh. Click HERE to check out the full scoop, and stick around for more on THE HOWLING REBORN as we hear it!
