FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM follows the adventures of writer Newt Scamander in New York’s secret community of witches and wizards seventy years before the events of Harry Potter. Fans of the series have all sorts of questions about the state of the wizarding world back then, especially on a different continent, and you can get a larger look at that in this international trailer!

Admittedly, the trailers have done very little for me in regards to ramping up excitement for the film. I love the idea of exploring new territory in this universe and, at the very least, we can see some kind of seedy saloon with magical creatures on display here in this trailer. I’m really hoping that FANTASTIC BEASTS not only delivers on the action front, but gives us a group of characters we want to know more about. I’ll guess we’ll find out in 3 months’ time!

FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM hits theaters on November 18, 2016.
