Hold onto your skulls because we’re all about to get BRAINJACKED! No, I’m not talking about a remake of JOHNNY MNEMONIC or BRAINSCAN. Hopefully what I’ve got here is something much better. It’s a new flick from writer/director Andrew Allan and while the following plot synopsis may not jump out of the screen and grab your nuts, I’m pretty sure it is only describing the tip of this insane iceberg:
It’s a sci-fi/horror combo that tells the tale of a runaway teenager who discovers an evil mind control plot.
To give that description a bit more gusto, Dread Central scored some icky pics to go along with it (two of which are above and below). Plus, Allan added a pretty promising blurb: “You can expect a really cool story, bloody trepanations, ample
nudity (more than topless), and abundant gore.” Now you’re talking! (Side Note: A “trepanation” is the process of cutting a hole in the skull. I wasn’t sure what it meant, so I just wanted to make sure you, the reader, got to know.)
BRAINJACKED is a Film Ranch International production and stars newcomers Chris Jackson and Somali Rose as well as sexy scream queen Krista Grotte (FILTHY, DEATH ON DEMAND, below), Joel D. Wynkoop (ROT, CREEP), and Rod Grant (100 TEARS). The flick is set to wrap by the first week of June and will be ready for AFM in late October. I’ll keep you posted if any further info gets jacked!
