UPDATE: It seems that I COME IN
PEACE Region 1 is available on a bare bones DVD under the title DARK
ANGEL. If you know where I can order
it online, fire me an e-mail. Thanks to Paul for the heads up!I got so
much mail about this story, didn’t know there were so many I COME IN PEACE/STONE COLD fans out there…GOOD SHITE : )

That f*cking does it! This rant is to express my intense discontent in NOT
SEEING the Region 1 DVD Releases of two cheese cult classics (to me anyways).
The films in questions are both directed by low budget maximizer Craig
R. Baxley and they go by the name of I COME IN PEACE (Sci Fi/Action/Horror)
and STONE COLD (Action).

FUN FACTORS
-Alien drug dealer who gets his drug via
sucking brains out of ODing humans
– A heat seeker CD launcher weapon that spits out throat slitting killer CDs
(COME ON! THAT ROCKS)
– Dolph Lundgren acting like Dolph Lundgren
-Awesome eighties rock tunes
– Big freaking guns
– Bigger explosions
– ITS GREAT FUN!

-Brian Bosworth’s inexplicable mullet…wow!
– Genre fav Lance Henriksen owning the scenery as a biker gang leader.
– Excessive violence to the MAX! Over 35 people die in this film!
It’s nuts!
– To the grit fist fights like they don’t do anymore.
– Brian Bosworth being prettier than most of the women in the film
– Great lines (One of my favs:
“This reminds me of my father’s last words: “Don’t son, that gun is
loaded!”)
– An over-machoness that bordered gay tones which will have you (gay or
straight) laughing it up!
– ITS AN AWESOME TIME!

I adore both of these CHEESE SANDWICHES and
they always make it in my “boys are over -get drunk” movie nights line-up.

WHAT’S THE HOLD UP! RELEASE THEM ON DVD ALREADY!
