Get ready for two more Paranormal Activity movies coming in 2014

I know that the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY series makes money so obviously there’s an audience for it. But when is enough, enough? Why come out with this films one right after another? How do they retain what makes them scary? This is just one person’s insight. I’m sure someone has a debate for why it’s okay to release the same type of found footage film so often.

Which brings me to the subject at hand….

Next year we will be treated to not one, but two PARANORMAL ACTIVITY films. We knew about both of them, however the dates for release were not in place. The first which is the Latino centered flick now titled PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: THE MARKED ONES will hit a theater near you on January 3, 2014. Then PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 5 will make its way before Halloween on October 24, 2014.

I was sort of done with these films after the second installment came out. It was laughable, and did nothing to move the series forward. Not to mention that any horror film that uses babies is usually using it as a lame gimmick. See ROSEMARY’S BABY and PET SEMATARY for how this should be done.

Do you want more PARANORMAL ACTIVITY or are you done with the series?
