Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has done a damn fine job of teasing the shit out of us while working on the Brett Ratner directed HERCULES: THE THRACIAN WARS and today he tweeted the first good look at his get-up as the titular god. Thus far it’s been a lot of back shots, make-up, set photos, and a pretty good profile shot recently, but now we have a clearer look at the grissled visage of Johnson as a more barbaric version of the classic mythological character.

Johnson has just begun filming on James Wan‘s FAST & FURIOUS 7, transitioning back to the outlaw badass sweat machine DEA agent character, Hobbs, for the third time. I’m smellin’ what the Rock’s been cooking of late, and I’m looking forward to both HERCULES: THE THRACIAN WARS and of course, FAST & FURIOUS 7. These days, having him in your film is an asset, especially since he’s gleaned himself off those TOOTH FAIRY crap. You go, Rock!
HERCULES: THE THRACIAN WARS is set to open on July 25, 2014.
