Get your first-person action fix with the new Hardcore Henry trailer

I have a feeling the bulk of you are aware and looking forward to HARDCORE HENRY, but for those of you not in the know, the movie is a first-person action film told through the eyes of Henry, who's resurrected from death with no memory. He then must discover his identity and save his wife from a warlord with a plan to bio-engineer soldiers. There's only one solution to this predicament, and that includes a whole lot of ass-kicking! Check out the latest trailer below!

An action film shot from an entirely first-person perspective is no more gimmicky than all of those "found footage" horror films, but the difference here is whether or not audiences will be able to stomach the action. For what it's worth, I'd say the filmmakers did a pretty damn good job at keeping a lot of it coherent, although I'm not crazy about the fish-eye view for an entire movie. You can read up on our review from last year's TIFF here to see if the film follows through on its premise!

HARDCORE HENRY opens in theaters on April 8, 2016.
