Get your Mad Max fix with six new clips from Fury Road

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

With AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON opening domestically today, the other hugely anticipated summer movie of 2015 is ramping up for release in just two weeks. MAD MAX: FURY ROAD ranks as our most anticipated film of the season thanks to a slew of awesome posters and kickass trailers. Now, new b-roll footage and clips from the film have debuted online to keep building your anticipation for George Miller‘s movie.

These clips come in two flavors: dialogue and action. On the action side, I am completely sold on the over the top stunts and fight scenes. The setting looks absolutely stunning along with brilliant vehicle and costume design. On the dialogue front, I am a bit nervous after hearing Tom Hardy‘s delivery. I don’t know if I was expecting him to sound like Mel Gibson or not, but it just didn’t click with me in these short snippets. Charlize Theron seems a bit generic in her delivery as well, but then again they both look amazing in their action scenes.

The b-roll footage also gives a nice glimpse at the production in making this movie happen. The use of practical effects and very little green screen definitely comes through which may be why this film looks so much more impressive than a lot of CGI heavy blockbusters. I just hope this is not a one and done project for Miller, Hardy, and Theron.

MAD MAX: FURY ROAD opens May 15th.
