Ghost Town trailer

While it may be a tad on the sappy, seen-that-been-there side, there’s no denying the great force of nature that is Ricky Gervais; so I bring you the trailer for GHOST TOWN, which doesn’t look like anything new, but as long as it features Gervais as an ornery jerk being haunted by sarcastic spirits in New York, I’ll bite.

The flick, also starring Greg Kinnear, Billy Campbell, and the still adorable Tea Leoni, is about Bertram Pincus (Gervais), a man whose people skills leave much to be desired. When Pincus dies unexpectedly, but is miraculously revived after seven minutes, he wakes up to discover that he now has the annoying ability to see ghosts.

It looks like a change of pace for director David Koepp, the multi-millionare script doctor and director of flicks like STIR OF ECHOES and SECRET WINDOW. I’m sure he could’ve paid for the entire film with his paycheck from INDIANA JONES 4
