Gigandet still vamps

TWILIGHT’s dreamy beefstick bloodsucker Cam Gigandet seems to be sticking with what he knows: fangs and exposed abdominals. Well… the fangs, at least.

The hot property will co-star with Paul Bettany in PRIEST, based on the Tokyopop graphic novel series by Min-Woo Hyung. The post-apocalyptic Western follows a warrior holy man (Bettany) riding the dusty trail with Gigandet’s young half-vampire sheriff to track down a gang of fanged bandits who kidnapped one of his kin.

Director/FX guy Scott Stewart follows his Screen Gems supernatural action flick LEGION with this one, which is also Gigandet’s second horror project with Screen Gems — he’s also appearing in the thriller THE ROOMMATE, with TV types Leighton Meester and Minka Kelly.
