Glee hottie Dianna Agron joins sci-fi flick I Am Number Four

D.J. Caruso’s sci-fi flick I AM NUMBER FOUR is really starting to build itself up now. This month we’ve had casting announcements that have included BEASTLY‘s Alex Pettyfer as the titular Four, DISTRICT 9’s Sharlto Copley as Four’s mentor, and FURY ROAD’s Teresa Palmer as Six. And joining them now will be “Glee” cutie Dianna Agron.

According to THR’s Heat Vision blog, Agron will be the female lead in the adaptation of the James Frey and Jobie Hughes young-adult sci-fi novels about “a group of nine aliens who escaped their home planet just before it was annihilated by a rival species.” Agron plays “a girl dating a high school jock who falls for Number Four and becomes his confidante.”

Agron, when not doing her thing on the ultra popular “Glee”, will next be seen in BOLD NATIVE and THE HUNTERS later this year.

I AM NUMBER FOUR is currently eying a February 2011 release.
