The first trailer for LOCKE starring Tom Hardy has been released, giving us a great look at the upcoming thriller. The film follows Ivan Lokce (Hardy) as he deals with some personal and professional problems while driving from Birmingham to London in real time, and was directed by Steven Knight (HUMMINGBIRD.)

LOCKE looks like a small film with a big performance by Tom Hardy, and reviews for it have been solid so far. JoBlo.com's very own Chris Bumbray gave it an 8/10 when he saw it at Sundance, and based on this trailer, I can see why. The trailer doesn't reveal too much (which is always a good thing in my opinion), but it does feature plenty of Tom Hardy looking annoyed/pissed off, and an unsettling tone that makes me very excited to see the new film.

"No matter what the situation is, you can make it good."

LOCKE will be released in the U.K. on April 18th, 2014 before hitting theaters in the U.S. on April 25th, 2014.
