Godzilla vs Kong starts shooting this October?

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

It was just last week that we shared the news (rumor) with you guys that Andres Muschietti's sequel to STEPHEN KING'S IT (might) begin shooting this summer. And today we have yet another rumor about yet another film that may begin filming this summer as well.

Yes, it turns out that Omega Underground is now reporting that YOUR'E NEXT and THE GUEST director Adam Wingard's GODZILLA VS KONG will begin shooting in Atlanta, Georgia October 1st and will wrap around February of next year.

Again, Just like the IT: CHAPTER 2 post from last week, this news has not yet been confirmed by the studio so for the time being let's take this with a (slight) grain of salt. That said, this shooting schedule would put the film on track for its May 2020 release date so I'm thinking this rumor might be spot-on.

Are you excited to know that Adam Wingard's GODZILLA VS KONG will begin shooting this summer? Make sure to hit us up and let us know in the comments below or on social media!

GODZILLA 2 hits theatres March 22, 2019, and Wingard's GODZILLA VS. KONG will be out the following year on May 22, 2020.
