Golden Globes: Winners announced

While I think it’s safe to say that this hasn’t been a good year for the Hollywood Foreign Press, with many even wondering whether or not the organization would be able to survive its recent scandals, last night’s celebrity-free, non-televised edition of the Golden Globes happened anyway. The HFPA’s list of winners is, as always, an intriguing look at what could be considered the front runners in this year’s Oscar race. Here’s a full list of last night’s winners on the film side:

Of course the question remains, does anyone still care about the Golden Globes and will the awards even be handed out in 2023? Notably, no stars were on hand last night. This piece via Variety gives some interesting insight into what, by all accounts, was a very odd and quiet night.
