The new international trailer for the sci fi action drama THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL, a remake of the 1951 classic, can be summed up thus: Gort kicks ass! Gort, of course, being the gigantic robot guard Keanu Reeves’ alien-in-human form brings to Earth to warn humanity of the consequences of its violent tendencies. And not only does he kick ass, but he is quite pissed off. Click through to see for yourself. The Earth will stand still (and Gort will kick the requisite ass) on December 12th.
