Goyer remake Invisible

The man behind BLADE, and the rebirth of BATMAN is stepping away from comics to direct his third feature, THE INVISIBLE.

It’s a remake of the Swedish flick DEN OSYNLIGE, about a kid who’s beaten to a bloody pulp, yet not quite dead. He’s then trapped in between worlds (so he’s Invisible to everyone around him), trying to figure out who left him for dead before he dies for real.

As long as there’s no scene involving a pottery spinner and Patrick Swayze, I’ll be there! Nice to see Goyer’s attempting to tackle something other than superheros here, and although it rings of GHOST and other movies of the like, the project sounds pretty cool.

INVISIBLE is slated to start filming in Vancouver this September, stay tuned for casting news in the near future.
